TERMS OF REFERENCE
Chemonics UK currently leads the Yemen Support Fund (YSF), a
UK government-funded programme that, in collaboration with partners, identifies
and invests in initiatives that protect civilians, foster political dialogue,
and support long-term stability in Yemen. The forthcoming Yemen Flexible
Fund.The ISF Yemen Flexible Funding Mechanism (YFFM) seeks to promote UK
strategy on Yemen and permit the UK and other Donor partners, to provide a
range of project activity that will strengthen and promote the conditions for
peace and stability in Yemen and the wider region.
The YFFM programme has two components, the Technical Assistance Flexible Fund
for Yemen (TAFFY) and Yemen Support Fund (YSF). The TAFFY main recipients
will be the Government of Yemen and the YSF recipients will be those actors
involved in sub-national / local stabilisation, peacebuilding and governance
activity. The wider beneficiaries will include local communities in Yemen
engaging both with the political actors and structures, and the community level
processes aimed at promoting the Peace Process roadmap. And Yemen Flexible
Funding Mechanism (YFFM) will expand on this foundation, combining a second
phase of YSF with a technical assistance flexible fund for Yemen to advance
sustainable conflict resolution and peacebuilding efforts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential
Functions)
We are seeking dynamic and skilled professionals to be part
of our Technical Communications Team. The team plays a vital role in
developing, reviewing, and managing high-quality technical documents, ensuring
clarity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards. Ideal
candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, attention to
detail, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear,
user-friendly content.
The following role require only one person . and explained
the duration of services:
TV Specialist – 12 days : Provides expert
consultation on Yemeni television landscape and content development within
strategic pillars. Advises on TV-appropriate messaging and helps navigate
Yemen's complex broadcast media environment.
